- They like cold temperatures. A succulent’s ideal temperature is between 70 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the daytime, and between 50 to 55 degrees in the nighttime.

- Water generously. There is a fine line between underwatering and overwatering your succulent plant. A discolored plant is one that is getting too much water, while a succulent that is shedding its leaves or has brown spots isn’t getting enough water. As a general rule, you can water every 3-4 days (use a spray bottle to mist the soil), but examine your plants closely to make sure they don’t need to be watered more or less frequently.
